Ed Mitchell, longtime CT Fly Fisherman, CFFA board member, author of four fly fishing books, will be our guest speaker for the October 11, 2017 monthly meeting. Ed’s talk will cover tackle and tactics, seasonal hatches, best flies and pointers on local lodges, guides and other angling opportunities in the Upper Connecticut River. Ed has been fishing for landlocked salmon, big brookies and rainbows in this area since 1985. In 2016, Ed was our featured Expo speaker and is known for his many informative and well written articles in major fly fishing magazines, including: American Angler, Fly Fisherman and and Fly Rod & Reel.
