Peter Jenkins, Owner of “The Saltwater Edge” in Middletown, Rhode Island will speak on methods and techniques for taking Albies. Albies are tremendous game fish and characterized as muscular torpedos. 30% faster than bonefish, they present excellent and challenging saltwater fly fishing. His talk will include: reading the water and how topography and structure can provide valuable clues to help find more fish.
Peter is the Lead Instructor at the Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing Schools along with being active in the Rhode Island Legislature as Chair of the Access Sub-Committee and a member of the Rhode Island Saltwater Angelers Association.
The Connecticut Fly Fisherman’s Association is a certified non-profit 501C3 organization and is dedicated to preserving and promoting the pleasures and traditions of fly fishing and to conserve game fish waters.
