About the November CFFA Meeting Speaker.  Ed Bauchiero is an avid fly fisherman who spent the last 35 years exploring fishing destinations at home and abroad without getting himself into too much trouble.  One of his piscatorial loves is the native brook trout.  Ed has traveled to several states to pursue this beautiful creature, and in recent years expanded his search to the wilds of Labrador, Canada where he discovered a world of large brook trout thriving in a pristine, untamed environment.  His presentation to CFFA will focus on sharing some historical and biological facts about the brook trout – some common, some surprising – while interweaving experiences of chasing Salvelinus fontinalis in Labrador, Canada.

Ed served on the Board of Directors for the Pioneer Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited for 20 years.  Over time, he also held the posts of president, vice-president, and newsletter editor of that Chapter.  He is the owner of Reel Destinations, Fly Fishing Adventureshosting fly fishing trips for fellow Trout Unlimited members to such destinations as Alaska, Belize, The Bahamas, Canada, Iceland, Greenland, and Ireland
